Contemplating CommissionsI am not going to open for commissions for at least a week or two, but I have been thinking about it. The auction market doesn't seem to be the way to go anymore. Prices are going down and you have ebay fees on top of that. I'll see how much my Luna sells for in the end, but as it is I'm not even making minimum wage for the time I spent on her. At least I'm more than covering materials cost though! So here's the deal: if I start taking commissions it will be for normal style ponies only. No Princesses, Nightmare Moon, Discord, etc unless there are very special circumstances. The prices on those special ponies would also be very high. Normal ponies aren't going to be cheap either, but I spend a ton of time on these so I want to make it worth my while.
